Child torn between two parents Feeling the heartache of divorce Remembering sweet memories

Being a child of divorce I have taken my experiences and given them a voice.  Many children feel lost and lonely when parents are separated. To a child the love that surrounds them always feels clouded by anger and jealousy. Having a safe place to hide or an outlet to run to always makes the pain slip away even if the influences are not good. I prayed my words would reach out to parents and children. Letting them know they are not alone. Giving parents sweet memories of when their children were born and that overwhelming emotion of Love. I have been blessed with a circle of unconditional love. I pray you will find poetry that will hit your heart in a way that no other could.

On The Banks Of Mitchell's Creek is my way of showing my past will never be forgotten and the future is always something to look forward to.  So many people try to forget about the past, but that is what models them into who they are today.  Good or bad there is a lesson behind it all.
